Motorcycles and scooters, one approach
In Altanise, motorcycles and scooters share the same classification rules and the same condition report. The type you choose stays on the vehicle record.
Class worked out automatically
From engine size or power: moped up to 50 cc or 4 kW, light motorcycle up to 125 cc or 11 kW, larger motorcycle above that. A known power above the threshold takes precedence over engine size.
Petrol or electric
For an electric model, the class is derived from its power in kW.
Your type stays yours
A 125 cc scooter stays a scooter on its record, even when it is classed as a light motorcycle.
Specifications
Suggestions for motorcycles: ABS, quickshifter, heated grips, top box, seat height. For scooters: under-seat storage, USB socket.
The expected licence for each class
At booking, Altanise reminds you of the expected licence: AM / BSR licence or equivalent for a moped, A1 licence for a light motorcycle, A2 or A licence for a larger motorcycle. The final check remains yours.
A condition report designed for two-wheelers
On a tablet, at pickup and at return, the visual check follows the zones of a two-wheeler, with photos and the customer's signature.

Yes, in the same account. They share the same two-wheeler condition report and the same classification rules, with a separate type on each record.
Does Altanise tell the different types of two-wheelers apart?
Yes. Each powered two-wheeler gets a class (moped, light motorcycle or larger motorcycle, petrol or electric) based on its engine size or power. That class sets the licence shown at booking.
Can I track the helmets I lend?
Yes. A two-wheeler condition report includes the number of helmets at pickup and at return, and helmets are among the accessories checked.
Are electric scooters supported?
Yes. For an electric two-wheeler, the class is based on its power, and the condition report records the battery charge, the charger and the battery hatch.
